About this event
Christmas at Mead Open Farm is the farm's festive season in Bedfordshire, "back for another magical year" with three new activities for 2026. One ticket covers a timed visit to Father Christmas and a whole day of festive making, plus the farm itself.
What to expect:
- 5 to 24 December 2026; you book a time slot for Father Christmas, not for the day
- The farm is open from 9.30am and you can arrive any time - come at least 20 minutes before your slot
- Meet Father Christmas for a group story and a picture, and pick a toy from his Toy Store
- Make a Bear Workshop: every child makes a cuddly teddy to take home
- Decorate gingerbread with Mother Christmas, and make a bag of reindeer food for Christmas Eve
- New for 2026: the North Pole Post Office, the walk-through Elf Workshop, and The Super Sprouts show
- SkyTrail, the rock climbing wall, Shaggy's On Road Adventure and the tractor rides are closed during the Christmas event
- Assistance dogs only
