About this event
Celebrate Christmas in Herstmonceux at the Observatory Science Centre & Museum, with festive planetarium shows, building and crafts in Santa's workshop included in your daytime visit.
What to expect:
- Open daily 19 December to 3 January (closed 24, 25, 26 December and 1 January); also "Open every weekend 7th Nov until 3rd Jan"
- Open 10am to 5pm on weekends and school holidays
- 'What Santa Sees', an immersive 360-degree planetarium film, shown at regular intervals
- Build a magnetic-tile prototype in Santa's workshop, then make it life size
- Write a secret coded letter to the North Pole
- Festive STEM crafts such as a 'present parachute' or a racing reindeer
- All activities are included in admission; festive cafe menu
