About this event
"This Christmas, we're transforming our barn into a magical Christmas skating rink in Cheshire." Trees, lights and decorations round a synthetic rink, with hot chocolate inside the barn.
What to expect:
- 27-29 November, then 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 December 2026
- Weekend and school-holiday sessions run hourly 9am-4pm; midweek is evenings only at 4, 5 and 6pm; Christmas Eve finishes at noon
- Each session is an hour: 45 minutes skating plus skate collection - arrive 15 minutes early
- Not real ice: a Wonder Ice SuperGlide synthetic surface, easier for children and first-time skaters
- "Adults 15+ - GBP 15, Children 3-14 - GBP 12 (exc booking fee)"; penguin skating aids GBP 5, pre-book only, one per family
- Bob Skates with two blades and a wider base help younger skaters balance
- Socks and gloves are mandatory or entry to the ice is refused, and everyone must sign a waiver
- Hot chocolate, marshmallows and festive treats to buy in the barn
