Christmas Special

The Christmas Special is part of the seasonal programme at Audley End Enchanted Railway, the miniature woodland railway near Saffron Walden in north Essex. The train runs through a lit forest to Father Christmas's workshop.

What to expect:

• 21 November to 24 December 2026
• "meeting Father Christmas and Mother Christmas, who will greet each child personally from the comfort of your train carriage and present each little one with a small gift"
• Make reindeer food, write a letter to Father Christmas and post it, and walk the lit Fulfen Forest
• "Pop along to the stage show to enjoy a relaxed and jolly performance."
• "The site opens from 9am - 8pm"; "activities start from 10:15am and things start to close from 6:15pm"; arrive 30 minutes before your train slot
