Come and Make Your Own Dragon Linstock is part of the programme at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Make your own linstock and decorate it with a fiery dragon’s head to shine a light at Halloween!
What to expect:
- Monday 26 to Friday 30 October 2026, listed 11am to 3pm, at the Mary Rose Museum
- Linstocks were decorated wooden poles used to light a cannon's fuse; gun captains often gave theirs a dragon's head
- Make your own cardboard version in the learning centre
- "Optional battery tea light charged at £1 should you wish to illuminate your Dragon head."
- Included with a valid Portsmouth Historic Dockyard ticket
