Crowes Wood Halloween Trail is part of the programme at Kiplin Hall and Gardens near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Enjoy a spook-tacular outdoor trail this autumn: discover things that go bump behind bark and branches, with legends of wolves and witches, ghosts and ghouls, and a Haunted Woodland to explore if you dare.
What to expect:
- 16 October - 4 November 2026; Kiplin is open 6 days a week, closed on Thursdays
- "Aimed at families with primary school aged children, although we hope older children (and adults) will enjoy it too."
- Dressing up is encouraged - they love to see your costumes
- Bark and earth paths that can get very muddy: wear sensible footwear and expect prams or pushchairs to get muddy
- Spooky displays stay in the woodland; the hall, lakeside paths and parkland are Halloween free zones
