Dads Rock Dads and Babies Group at The Gorgie Mem

Dads Rock runs a Tuesday evening group for dads and babies at The Gorgie Mem, the community hall on Gorgie Road in Edinburgh. It sits alongside their weekend playgroups and is listed by the hall under Children & Families Activities as "Groups for Dads and Babies".

What to expect:

• Tuesday evenings, 7pm-9pm, at the Mem
• Aimed at dads and male carers with babies, rather than the 0-5 weekend playgroups
• Run by Dads Rock, the Scottish charity whose line is "Improving outcomes for children - Inspiring dads and families"
• The hall has a fully stocked kitchen and a secure garden with play equipment
• Dads Rock also runs P.S. Dads Rock, "Peer Support for all new and expectant Dads in Scotland", and Dads WhatsApp groups open to all dads across Edinburgh
• The Mem's own note on cost across its programme is that "some of our activities are free, and others have a small cost"
• An evening slot, so it suits dads who cannot get to a weekday-morning group
