Discover the wonder of wetlands with our guided, in-person experience — perfect for first-time visitors and beginners. Led by our knowledgeable Welney volunteers, it takes in the seasonal highlights as well as giving you some history to the site and opportunities to chat and ask questions.

What to expect:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays, 21 April to 29 October 2026, 10.30am-12.30pm
• “Binoculars and field guides are provided—just bring your curiosity!”
• “Whilst we think this event is best suited to those aged 10+, if you have a young budding nature lover who would enjoy this walk, they are welcome to join. If you're bringing a child along with you, please do let us know their age when booking.”
• “£7 per adult, £3.50 per child, non-WWT members need to purchase admission ticket also”
