About this event
Experience Drumlanrig in a whole new light… or perhaps a little less! The castle's Halloween Trail takes on an after-dark twist, with an illuminated trail, spooky characters to encounter and plenty of trick-or-treat opportunities along the way.
What to expect:
- Saturday 31 October 2026, 5pm – 8pm (last entry 7pm)
- "£20 per person"; "Combined Ticket with Castle Tour & Trail – £35 per person"
- An illuminated outdoor trail with strange and unusual characters, played by actors, who interact with families and hand out treats
- "This is not a scare attraction" — designed with children and families in mind, with no actors jumping out
- "The after-dark nature and spooky elements of this event may not be suitable for very young children/babies"; babies under one year old do not require a ticket
- Bring a torch or headtorch; the route is outdoors on uneven terrain
- The Larchwood Cabin Café will be open for home-baked goodies and hot and cold drinks
- No pumpkins in the evening
