The East Neuk Knits Marketplace is the hub of East Neuk Knits, which runs 26-28 November 2026 in the East Neuk of Fife.
A yarn festival in a farm market hall at a traditionally quiet time of year: squish yarn, snuggle a goat, eat cake and buy Christmas presents from farmers and makers.
What to expect:
- Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November in the Bowhouse market hall at St Monans, open from 10am
- A vendor marketplace, plus pop-up talks, mini-exhibitions and the community-decorated Drifter herring boat sail
- Alpaca, sheep and goats on site, as part of the festival's animal-to-yarn thread
- Book signings hosted by the SWI, and demonstrations of weaving and knitting the herring
- "Children under 16 are free, but please book a ticket so we have clear numbers for fire safety"
- Baern cafe on two floors, a kitchen shop and food vans behind the marketplace
- One level throughout and wheelchair accessible, with two accessible toilets; free minibus to the other venues
