About this event
East Tunnel Tours take visitors into Fort Nelson's hidden depths on a special guided tour of the East Tunnel.
Normally closed to the public, it is one of the last unrestored areas within the walls, where original features remain untouched.
What to expect:
- Saturday 14 November 2026 and Saturday 16 January 2027
- Tours at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm, each 60 minutes
- The tour is not considered suitable for under 12s due to the tour route
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
- Low light (torches and portable units), uneven ground; the route is not accessible
- Wear sturdy footwear and warm layers
- Tickets: £12
