About this event
Family Day in the Painted Hall is part of the programme at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich.
A monthly family takeover of the Painted Hall, with activity stations encouraging every member of the family to play, create and learn together. Each month responds to a different theme from the site's history.
What to expect:
- Third Sunday of the month, 11am-4pm: 18 October (Myths and Symbols), 15 November (Art and Architecture), 20 December (Crowns and Palaces)
- Stations: Sit and Sketch, Build and Connect, Dress-up, Curiosity Corner, Ask and Explore
- Two chances to catch a 20-minute interactive story linked to the month's theme
- "Tickets: £19 (Adults), Free for Children 16 and under"
- Hall activities need a general admission ticket or Annual Pass; free drop-in crafts in the King William Undercroft Café
- Last Family Day entry to the Painted Hall advised at 3pm
- Buggies go in the Café buggy park while the lift is restricted
