About this event
Family Forest School is part of the Forest School programme at the Food Museum in Stowmarket, Suffolk.
Our Forest School is a unique opportunity for children to explore the glorious woodlands of our 84-acre site. Using natural resources, children build, create, play and investigate, enjoying woodland crafts and cooking under the guidance of our trained Forest School practitioners.
What to expect:
- Single-day sessions, 10.30am-1.30pm, on 6 November, 4 December, 8 January and 5 February
- "Ages 5+, all abilities welcome"
- "These sessions are not for unaccompanied children and each child will need a one-to-one or parent with them who will also take part in activities"
- "All participants (adult and child) need a ticket, as everyone is an active participant"
- "£8 per participant"
- "In the woods it can often be cooler than expected" - dress for it
- Cooking is part of the session, so flag any food allergies when booking
