About this event
Family tour: Creatures of the Commonwealth is part of the family programme at Westminster Abbey in London.
Come on an animal safari in Westminster Abbey to discover creatures of the Commonwealth, hidden in the stonework, windows and carvings. Find the animals hiding in plain sight to hear their stories, sing their songs and discover their links to the countries of the Commonwealth.
What to expect:
- Monday 15 to Friday 19 February 2027 (February half-term), at 10:30am and 1:00pm each day
- From elephants to kangaroos, bees to lions
- Tours run for 60 minutes and end at the end of the visitor route
- Suitable for children aged 3+; all children must be accompanied by an adult
- Free (booking required). Tickets will be released on Friday 22nd January 2027.
- Meet by the Cloister Entrance in Dean's Yard; does not include self-guided entry
