About this event
Make your own origami rikishi and play Tonton Sumo is one of the half-term family workshops at Japan House London in Kensington. Sumo is one of Japan's national sports, where two wrestlers, called rikishi, try to push each other out of a ring. "Fold your own paper rikishi, then play Tonton Sumo by tapping the ring to make your wrestler move and compete."
What to expect:
- Sunday 25 and Thursday 29 October 2026, 14:30–16:30, in the Hall
- Saturday 31 October 2026, 14:30–16:30, in the Library
- Part of a series of free family-friendly drop-in workshops for the October half-term
- Drop in during the session; no age is stated, it is aimed at families
