Farm Toddlers

Farm Toddlers is part of the programme at Jacksons at Jedburgh, a working family farm in the Scottish Borders.

Hands-on activities, outdoor play and gentle learning on a real farm - the perfect way to introduce young children to nature, animals and the seasons.

What to expect:

• A Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning, 10.30-11.30am; you book one morning a week
• Booked in 4 or 6 week blocks; the winter block starts the week of 19 October
• For ages 1-4; the farm's own answer is "12months old or more"
• Led by Beth; each week is different - lambs in spring, hay baling in summer, autumn eggs, animals prepared for winter
• Wear "old clothes & waterproofs" - even in summer
• "Babies in arms/prams etc (under 12months old) can accompany a paying toddler for no charge"
• "Older siblings are welcome if there is a school closure/ inservice day"
• "Everyone is welcome at toddlers" - message the farm about any support needed
