Father Christmas at Yorkshire Wolds Railway

Father Christmas at Fimber Halt is part of the programme at the Yorkshire Wolds Railway, East Yorkshire's only heritage railway.

The railway says it has already managed to book Father Christmas to visit Fimber Halt again in 2026, on three Saturdays in late November and December. The railway's own photograph shows him with an elf aboard the brake van.

What to expect:

• Saturday 28 November, Saturday 5 December and Saturday 12 December 2026
• At Fimber Halt on the B1248 near Wetwang, the railway's own station site
• The railway's words: “Please keep checking back for updates!” - times, prices and booking for 2026 are not published yet
• These dates fall AFTER the ordinary season, which runs to the end of October, so the usual timetable does not apply
• Normally free parking and toilets on site, with a shop and refreshment coach
• Check the railway's own page nearer the time before travelling
