About this event
The Festival of Christmas (After Dark) is part of the festive programme at Almond Valley Heritage Centre, Livingston, 4-24 December 2026.
Almond Valley bursts into festival life after dark with twinkling lights, mischievous elves, festive music, stories and performances, and more tinsel than is probably sensible.
What to expect:
- 5pm to 8pm on selected nights: 4-6, 11-13 and 18-23 December
- New for 2026: the Reindeer Hop Race Course, Gingerbread Golf and a Giant Snow Globe
- The Reindeer School of Flight Show, three performances a night
- The illuminated Winter Woodlands - and the Grinch's Lair
- Festive tales with Mrs Claus, the Bricks & Baubles LEGO experience, the Tinsel Factory craft centre and a Bubble Dome
- Grind your own reindeer food at the Reindeer Food Outpost
- Santa's Cosy Cottage, Santa's Express and Splat-A-Claus are NOT included - book those separately at checkout
- Built as an all-weather night, much of it indoors; tickets are non-refundable
