About this event
Festive Afternoon Tea is part of the Christmas programme on the Llangollen and Corwen Railway, a heritage line through the Dee Valley in north Wales.
What better way to enjoy those wonderful days between Christmas and New Year than with a Festive Afternoon Tea aboard one of our heritage coaches? Sit back at your own table and enjoy a specially created menu while the winter landscape passes by your window.
What to expect:
- "Taking place between 27 December and 2 January" 2026-27
- Served aboard the Mince Pie Specials, so it includes the Dee Valley journey
- "Cranberry and white chocolate homemade scones, served with jam and clotted cream"
- Turkey and cranberry, beef and horseradish and egg mayonnaise sandwiches, a mince pie, Yule log and "a bowl of pigs in blankets!"
- Everything comes with "unlimited tea or coffee", served to your table during the journey
- Adult (ages 16+) £55, child (ages 3-15) £20, infants aged 2 and under free
- Dogs are welcome at £3
