Fingringhoe: Welcome to the Stone Age

Fingringhoe: Welcome to the Stone Age is part of the Essex Wildlife Trust events programme at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Park near Colchester.

Spend some time this October Half term exploring the wild ways our ancestors survived during the Stone Age, learning new skills and having fun in the woods!

What to expect:

• Tuesday 27 October, 10:30am-12:30pm
• Recommended for ages 5+; all children must be accompanied by an adult
• Whittle weapons and track footprints to hone your hunting skills
• Build a shelter and decorate it using natural painting techniques
• Meet on the benches by the accessible parking at the Nature Discovery Centre
• Outdoors in the woods: dress for the weather
