Lovely site, plenty of different walks and hides. So much to see if you are lucky or hear,

Massive site, with easily walkable gravel paths, well kept hides and lots of seating. You'll need most of the day to spend time in every section and explore the new flooded marshes, so allow plenty of time because it closed dead on 5pm. Grab a map at the centre and follow their paths between numbered posts. Some bits of the site are steep and uneven, so maybe speak with the helpful volunteers if you need to avoid them. We rushed there on a Saturday afternoon, arrived just before 4pm and only then learnt that the site fully closes at 5pm - "We lock the gate at the end of the drive at 5pm". It's perfectly fair, they run a delicate and well managed site that needs to be staffed at all times. We'll know better next time, and will proudly reply "yes! we've been here before" at the visitor centre.

This is a lovely place with lots of wildflowers and very noisy birds. We heard a nightingale and saw a blackcap. Nice cafe and good facilities. We will return.

Went to a bird box building activity for children during the half term holiday. We were provided with everything needed - tools, wood, nails etc. and the quality of the box is great it'll last years. The children had a fun time and learnt a lot from Clare the instructor. We followed it up with a coffee and huge piece of cake at the visitors centre.

Possibly the jewel in EWT's crown. An absolutely stunning reserve offering woodland, farmland, Estuary wildlife and more. A stunning place to explore at a relaxed pace. Take a picnic, take a camera, take some binoculars and if you can a scope. It's beautiful.
