Firework Train

The Firework Train is part of the programme at the Fairbourne Railway, the narrow-gauge seaside line at Fairbourne on the Mawddach Estuary. On firework night the train runs from Fairbourne to Barmouth Ferry Station, which the railway bills as the best view of the Barmouth firework display.

What to expect:

• Saturday 7 November 2026; the train leaves Fairbourne at 6:00pm
• Ride the train to Barmouth Ferry Station and avoid the traffic
• Fireworks and train are subject to weather conditions
• Hot dogs and hot and cold drinks are available at Barmouth Ferry Station
• Tickets are sold in the Fairbourne Railway Café or online, and the railway asks you to book early
• Adult and child tickets are sold
• The railway makes a donation from proceeds to the Barmouth Fireworks
