Forest Friends: Where the Wild Things are is part of the programme at PK Porthcurno, Museum of Global Communications in Cornwall. "Inspired by Maurice Sendak’s beloved classic, our little forest friends are off on a wild adventure!"
What to expect:
- Monday 12 October 2026, 10:30 to midday, in the PK Gardens
- A forest school-inspired sensory workshop for children under 5 with their grown-ups
- Monsters, kings and queens and plenty of dancing; all-weather, outdoors, with a campfire and handmade toasty treats
- "Be dressed and ready for muddy play"
- Led by local forest school leader Elise Wilson with resident artist Mae Voogd
- "Child tickets: £6.50 each. Free admission for accompanying babies under 12 months."
- Museum admission is not included; free parking in the Porthcurno Car Park for attendees
