Gentle Halloween Guided Lantern Walk

The Gentle Halloween Guided Lantern Walk is part of the programme at Dreamery Gardens, England's lost fairy garden and fairy museum near York.

Enjoy the gardens and museum into dusk and dark as the nights draw in, with lanterns, lights and torches in the gardens and autumn grottos. A cloaked guide leads you past the Halloween Grotto, through the labyrinth and back to the café bar, with stories from Professor Howland's collection.

What to expect:

• 25 and 27 October to 1 November 2026, two walks a day at 4.30pm and 6.30pm (24 and 26 Oct are sold out)
• Includes access to the gardens and museum - come before your walk to enjoy them
• If on the 6.30 walk, visit the museum and café first as there is no time afterwards before closing
• Bring a lantern if you like; a torch is recommended as the ground is uneven and parts of the trail have little light
• Wear appropriate footwear
• Price includes 10% off food and drink in the café
