Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre

Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre is part of the programme at Glastonbury Abbey, a ruined medieval monastery in 36 acres of grounds in Somerset.

The abbey gives over a whole April weekend to "epic jousts, re-enactment displays, live music, market stalls and more medieval merriment than you can shake a sword at!"

What to expect:

• Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 April 2027, 10am to 6pm each day, across the main abbey grounds
• Arena shows: the Grand Joust and a Castle Siege, plus Viking warriors, archers and knights in combat displays
• Living History encampments with dozens of re-enactors to meet
• Medieval and Renaissance music played in the 14th-century Abbot's Kitchen
• A medieval market of hand-crafted gifts, vintage jewellery, historical replicas and re-enactment garb
• "Glastonbury Abbey Medieval Fayre is free for children aged 15 and under!" - a free child ticket still has to be booked
• "All children must be accompanied by an adult."
