About this event
Gunpowder, Treason & Plop is part of the October half-term programme at Pembroke Castle. A children's tour with castle guide Isla, full of gruesome facts about crime and punishment in the 17th century, Guy Fawkes, and the castle's own traitor, John Poyer.
What to expect:
- Monday 26, Wednesday 28 and Friday 30 October 2026
- Tours at 11:15, 1:15 and 3:15 on each of those days
- Learn how to spot a witch, and what happened to criminals
- Come in Halloween costume, but wrap up warm
- "Suitable for all ages, but will include walking around towers and climbing stairs."
- No booking needed: included in castle admission, or with an annual membership
