About this event
A seasonal afternoon tea in the Grade I listed Abbey Kitchen at Rufford - "the vaulted stone rooms of the Jacobean wing" - served to the table over the Halloween weekend, with a separate children's version.
What to expect:
- Friday 30, Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026, with 12pm or 2pm seatings
- Savoury bites: chorizo sausage roll, feta and pumpkin quiche, coronation chicken wrap, finger sandwiches
- Sweet: warm cranberry scones with clotted cream, ginger pumpkin slice, red velvet, carrot cake, lemon loaf
- "Halloween Afternoon Tea: £24.95 per person. Little Monsters Afternoon Tea: £16.95 per child"
- The children's afternoon tea is for children under 12
- Every table must be reserved and paid for in advance - no walk-ins in the historic room
