One of my favourite places to visit . Always beautiful. Wonderful and well kept playground, big parking available. Benches and tables all around - so bring your picnic ;) numerous walks around lakes and woodland

I loved the walk around Rufford and through the woods it was lovely to see the nature and all the flowers that had bloomed the sound of the birds and that there was different routes to walk. The lake was lovely all the different birds too. The only issue I have is that you didn't have a choice off how much parking you could put on I had pay the all day price even though it did state different prices on the ring go app so I had to pay £7 and I was only there for 3hrs in total.

Great place for family visit and picnic, cafe very expensive though, pack up next time. Car parking £7:60 with the app, £7 at the machine, another 60p saving. Lots of activities for the family, although archery, ice cream parlour at the mill end not open, also the shop there has gone. Do miss the ford not being open as the road is closed. Not sure if all the facilities will be open in the Easter or summer. Fingers crossed that they put more activities back on either.

Spent a lovely afternoon at Rufford Abbey. We arrived husy after 2pm which meant the parking was cheaper, we spent £2 instead of £7 for the full day. There has been a lot of work since we were last here. You can now access remains of the West wing of the Abbey and it is well worth a visit. Great views of the park from the first floor. The Gardens were all well.kept and beautiful with no rubbish of trash around. There are a couple of cafe options both well equipped with toilets. We took a walk around the lake, which was lovely. All on all a lovely day out.

I love this country park. It has two cafes, massive lakes, lots of loos, benches, archery , crazy golf, a shop and a Abbey Tales inside. It has great gardens with lots of sculptures to explore and a cracking adventure play ground. Lots of wildlife too.
