Halloween Haunt is part of the year-round events programme at The Blue Pool Nature Reserve & Tearooms near Wareham, Dorset. Explore the family-friendly haunted trail, solve the Curse of the Pumpkin King and Queen, and carve your own spooky creation in the Royal Pumpkin Patch — with none of the mess at home.
What to expect:
- 24 to 31 October 2026, open everyday 9:30am – 5pm
- With no jump scares, it's spooky fun that's suitable for little monsters
- Pick up your clue sheet from the ticket office
- Release a pumpkin from the royal pumpkin patch by cracking the curse, then carve it on site - £5pp
- Free drop-in circus skills at 12:30pm: juggling, hula hooping, poi, plate spinning
- Dorset Wild Ones workshops - broomstick making, creepy clay monsters, magical potions, Halloween wreaths - book ahead
- Fancy dress is encouraged, with face painting available
- The Blue Pool's own price lines: Adults: £9.75, Children (5-15yrs): £4.95, Under 5s: Free
- Parking is £2 per vehicle all day
