A costumed walking tour of Lauriston Castle in Edinburgh on Saturday 31 October 2026, performed by Edinburgh Living History. Visitors meet the castle's residents and staff as they were in 1905 while they discuss the origins and traditions of Halloween in Scotland, including Samhain, Victorian double-exposure spirit photography and grisly stories from Lauriston Castle and Edinburgh's past. Audiences walk through the Castle on a special tour as the performance unfolds. Two tours run on the day, at 13:30 and 15:00, each booked separately. Tickets are Standard £10.00, Concession (Senior/Student) £8.00 and Under 16 £8.00; a £2 per-order transaction fee applies to phone and online bookings. Mimi's Bakehouse cafe is on site.
