The Halloween Quiet Boats are the relaxed version of The Missing Magic at Dudley Canal & Caverns, the Black Country's underground limestone caverns.
Our Quiet Boats are calmer versions of our Halloween and Christmas experiences, designed for visitors who prefer a quieter environment.
What to expect:
- Two dates: Tuesday 27 and Thursday 29 October 2026, both at 2pm
- "You’ll still enjoy the themed story and activities, but with reduced sound and gentler lighting, no sudden scares or loud noises, and no pressure to take part."
- "The boats will have reduced capacity, giving everyone a little more space and a more relaxed experience."
- "A dedicated Quiet Boat Liaison will be on hand throughout your visit to answer questions, offer support and help make your experience as comfortable as possible."
- The same clue trail through the caverns as the evening event, on a 45-minute boat trip
- The Halloween page asks visitors to bring a warm jumper or coat for the caverns
