Halloween Spooktacular is part of the programme at South Tynedale Railway, the heritage railway running out of Alston station in Cumbria.
The railway's own words: "Journey into the unknown aboard our spooky steam hauled train." Its poster says the trip is a steam ride to Lintley and back, and that volunteers will be in Halloween costume.

- Saturday 31 October 2026, two departures from Alston: 2pm and 5pm, each about an hour
