Halloween Trains is part of the programme at Bala Lake Railway, home of Alice the Little Welsh Engine, beside Bala Lake. "Join us for a scary evening train to celebrate Halloween!"

What to expect:

  • Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October 2026, two evening services each night at 5.30pm and 6.45pm
  • Trains leave Llanuwchllyn for Flag Halt, "where you will be entertained by the resident ghosts and ghouls"
  • A spooky trip down the line until disaster strikes and the crew turn back, with a brief stop at the witches' coven
  • "Our stations are decorated and our staff/volunteers dress up for the occasion."
  • "Feel free to dress up for your visit as many of our visitors do."
  • Prices: Adults £12.50, Children £5, Dogs £1. Book online for your chosen date and train
  • Free car parking at Llanuwchllyn station
