Halloween Week 2026 is part of the programme at Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell in the Peak District.
Looking for a fang-tastic way to spend your October half-term? The gardens get a spine-chillingly good line-up of spooktacular activities to keep the whole family entertained.
What to expect:
- Runs Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2026
- Face painting - turn yourself into a creepy creature or a magical monster
- A Halloween garden trail with hidden surprises to uncover
- Fun & Games with Pippa the Pumpkin Witch and Patch the Scarecrow on 27, 28 and 29 October: games 11.15am-12noon and 2pm-2.45pm, meet and greets 12.45pm-1.15pm and 3.30pm-4pm
- Freaky food and drink from the cafe, plus a bookable Halloween afternoon tea of spooky sandwiches, pizza, cakes and green jelly
- Garden trail and kids activities are included with standard garden entry; food, workshops, face painting and house tours cost extra
- Dogs welcome; the Carriage House will not be open over Halloween half-term
