About this event
The Halloween Xplorer Challenge is part of the programme at Brockholes Nature Reserve near Preston, run by The Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
Explore Brockholes, find the markers, complete the challenge and have fun together. Run in partnership with British Orienteering, Xplorer is an outdoor activity for the whole family.
What to expect:
- 24 October to 1 November 2026; listed time 10:00am-3:30pm
- Challenge 1 follows surfaced, pram-friendly paths, ideal with younger children; Challenge 2 is harder and not suitable for prams
- Each map pack has a map, answer sheet, Brockholes pencil and instructions
- On completion: answers, a certificate and a sweet treat
- One pack per child is advised; children must be accompanied by an adult
- Pre-booked - £5.50
- On the day - £6.50
- New this year: timed trails via a QR code
