The History Festival is part of the programme at Murton Park, home of the Yorkshire Museum of Farming, in York.
After the success of the 2026 festival it returns, bringing history to life through interactive exhibits, reenactments and engaging activities.
What to expect:
- Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 August 2027, 10am to 4pm
- Wander through reconstructed historical settings, from a Viking village to a Roman fort
- Reenactors demonstrating traditional crafts and daily life from various time periods
- Jorfor's Hall Vikings appear as part of the 2027 festival
- The 2027 lineup is still to be announced
