About this event
A Very Victorian Christmas is part of the programme at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, Singleton.
Three festive workshops in one day for home-educating families: discover the origins of the Christmas tree and make an angel decoration, learn about the invention of the Christmas card and design one, then explore Christmas in the Victorian cottage and make a paper chain.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 16 December, 10am to 3pm
- "During this workshop day you will rotate around three different areas and take part in all the workshops, please arrive at 10am so that you do not miss out"
- For children aged 4-13, each with an accompanying adult; delivered at Key Stage 1 and 2 level
- "£15.00 per child (4–13 years) – includes one workshop slot"; "£5.00 for one accompanying adult"
- "Free for under-5 siblings not taking part in a workshop"
- You must have at least one child booked onto a workshop to attend
- Not included in Museum membership; free parking and a waterside cafe on site
