About this event
Illuminated is part of the programme at The Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens in Alrewas. "Experience a magical winter's evening together at Illuminated, discovering extraordinary stories told through colour, light, and sound." This year's route shares stories from the Gardens' first 25 years.
What to expect:
- 4 to 22 December; not running on 7 and 14 December
- "Entry to Illuminated is every 30 minutes between 4.30pm and 6.30pm (7pm on peak evenings)."
- Stay as long as you like until the site closes
- Relaxed sessions at 4.30pm on 9, 13 and 15 December, with more muted light and sound
- Dazzling installations plus hands-on elements you can control and touch
- Outdoors in the dark; free sensory backpacks with a torch from the Welcome Desk
- Hot food and drinks along the route; parking charged separately
- Accessible toilets halfway along the route; a visual story is available before the event
