Junior Ghost Walk

The Junior Ghost Walk is part of the Halloween programme at Temple Newsam, which runs from 24 October to 1 November 2026. A family-friendly ghost walk around Home Farm, with stories built to delight and thrill rather than frighten.

What to expect:

• Wed 28, Thu 29 and Sat 31 October 2026, with walks at 10.30am and 1.30pm lasting an hour
• "Experience the magical mysteries of Halloween without any of the frights, as we dip into our cauldron of silly tales"
• Stories "spooky enough to send shivers down your spine, but daft enough to deliver plenty of fun and laughter"
• "We'll even end the session with a 'not-so-scary' spell to chase away any lingering fears"
• "Junior Ghost walks are included in a General Admission ticket, but must be pre-booked"
• Around the farm, so dress for the weather and wear shoes for farmyard ground
• The estate-wide Halloween trail and free crafts at the Joiner's Shop are on the same days
