There is something for everyone here, from beautiful landscapes to kitchen gardens & greenhouse, the full working farm, manor house with ghost stories (especially the Blue Lady) and historic importance everywhere. I’ve always loved Temple Newsam. The seasonal theming they do now is really charming, particularly the autumn displays which are often creative and sometimes oddly beautiful. The farm is still a highlight. I love the spring lamb feeding and the addition of the donkeys over the years, though I do miss the old hatchery they used to have, along with the gentle one-eyed white horse — we used to call him One-Eye-Jack. Inside the house, I’ve always loved the bird wallpaper in the Drawing Room — created when Lady Isabella Hertford decorated it by cutting exotic birds from a book. It’s such a fascinating detail. The cellar ghost tour is fun, but very brief and clearly aimed at children. It would be great to see a more in-depth version. I’d also love to see more focus on working-class life to flesh out the experience, perhaps by opening up the kitchens. There are hundreds more interesting historical details here, including connections to Mary, Queen of Scots, King Henry VIII, the Templars, and more ghosts and murders... but I’ll leave those for visitors to discover themselves on their own visit. I do find it a shame that there’s now paid parking. In my opinion, as it’s a public park it feels like it should remain freely accessible to all. Admission prices also feel a bit steep for some experiences, and it would be great to see annual membership options introduced. Now if only the fountain was back up and running. I assume it’s just waiting for the parking money to kick in!

Love the area. You can get a ticket and visot the farm, or for an acessible price you can park and have this huge park, perfect for bike rides. For the little ones there's a playground with shade areas that allows hours of fun.

Lovely house with plenty of information in each of the rooms both on cards and interactive video screens. Nice cafés. The farm is great especially at this time of year (Spring). Cute lambs, piglets and calves. Rare Cattle. Didn't get chance to visit all the grounds, will go back.

Large well kept grounds with lots of wide paths. Free motorised disabled transport. Nice walled garden. Very peaceful

My favourite park. I live not far. Great place for a walk, cycling and running and many other events. Beautiful view around. Little lakes and garden. Massive space for walkers or people who do sports. House is great too. Farm _ great for kids and children. I just love it each time of the year.
