About this event
Lego Printing Workshop for Kids is part of the programme at Thornbridge Hall near Bakewell in the Peak District.
Chesterfield-based printmaker Dave Elsom turns children's favourite building bricks into creative tools: kids use Lego to design their own printing plates, then print bold, colourful patterns onto card and paper.
What to expect:
- Wednesday 28 October 2026, 10.30am to 12noon, in the October half-term
- Every young artist leaves with a collection of their own handmade prints to take home
- All materials and equipment provided, and no experience needed - just imagination
- Printing can get a little inky, so wear clothes you do not mind getting creative in
- The ticket price is per child and includes garden access for one child and one accompanying adult; pre-booking is essential and tickets are limited to one adult per child
- Children must be supervised at all times, and the ticket includes a cafe discount
- Additional garden entry tickets must be bought separately
