About this event
Join us for a family friendly visit and discover the darker side of Trinity House's maritime history and hear tales of hauntings, superstition and mystery. Our resident storyteller will share with you tales of mysterious ships, strange superstitions, hangings, and vanishings. This unique experience includes a twilight tour of Trinity House and the lantern lit sixteenth century vaults.
What to expect:
- Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October 2026, 4.30pm to 6pm
- Suitable for 5yrs+
- A twilight tour of the house plus the lantern-lit sixteenth-century vaults
- £7.50 Adults (16-64yrs), £6.00 Concession (65yrs+), £4.50 Child (7-15yrs)
- Free for Historic Scotland Members
- The vaults are down steep stairs; disabled access is to the ground floor of the house only
- No visitor car park — free parking at the Kirkgate Shopping Centre is limited to 90 minutes, or take the bus or tram to Foot of the Walk
