The LNER Big Wheel returns to East Princes Street Gardens to give passengers a unique perspective of our spectacular city. Enjoy the comfort of the enclosed and weather-proof pods with incredible views of the historic Old Town, Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat, and sparkling evening views of Edinburgh's Christmas attractions.
What to expect:
- Runs 14 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 in East Princes Street Gardens
- Open 10:00 to 22:00 (last admission 21:30), with different hours on some dates (17 Nov 17:00-22:00; 24 Dec 10:00-20:00; 25 Dec closed; 26 Dec 12:00-20:00; 31 Dec 10:00-17:00; 1 Jan 12:00-20:00; 3 Jan 10:00-20:00)
- Tickets are date-specific with no set time slots - one ride any time on your date
- Family tickets are valid for four people with a maximum of 2 adults
- An adult ticket holder must accompany children 13 and under. If you can toddle, a ticket is required
- Pods can accommodate manual wheelchair users
