About this event
Make Play is part of the programme at Modern Art Oxford. It is a sensory creative space for children aged between 6 months and 5 years to explore with their parent and/or carer, with a changing selection of materials and themes each session.
What to expect:
- Tuesdays 20 Oct, 3 Nov, 17 Nov, 1 Dec and 15 Dec 2026, and 9 and 23 Feb 2027, 11am-2pm
- Open-ended, hands-on sensory play supporting coordination, communication, confidence and imagination
- Children explore at their own pace while carers share in the experience
- Booking is essential; one ticket admits one child and one parent/carer
- An adult bringing more than one child books a ticket for each child
- Pay-what-you-can tickets: £4.50 / £6.50 / £8.50
- Free activity sheets and sensory backpacks for the galleries at the welcome desk
