About this event
McHadson's Young Ranger Group is part of Active Parks, the year-round wellbeing programme North Northamptonshire Council runs at its country parks.
Are you a home-educating family with young people aged 10 to 16? You and your young ranger will work alongside our park rangers on habitat management and learn woodland crafts. It's a fantastic way to connect with nature, build practical skills, and make new friends.
What to expect:
- Tuesday afternoons, 1.30pm to 3pm, working alongside the park rangers
- For home-educating families with young people aged 10 to 16
- Hands-on habitat management in the park, plus woodland crafts
- "Children must be accompanied by an adult."
- Booked as a term block rather than a drop-in: "Cost: £30 for 6 sessions (3 November to 8 December)"
- Booking essential, by email to [email protected]
- "Normal parking charges apply." The Skylark Cafe and toilets are on site
