About this event
Meet Mary Seacole and Mix a Medicine is part of the programme at the Florence Nightingale Museum in London. Interactive performances tell the life of Mary Seacole in her own words: how she aided soldiers during the Crimean War and earned the nickname 'Mother Seacole'. Then children can diagnose a soldier and find the best herbal remedy to help him recover.
What to expect:
- Saturday 17 October 2026 and Saturday 16 January 2027
- Performances at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm, each about 30 minutes
- Mix a medicine is a drop-in activity from 10:00am to 4:30pm
- "All performances are included in general admission."
- "No booking required" - museum tickets can be bought online or in person
- Museum tickets work as annual passes, giving unlimited entry for 12 months
- The museum is all on one level, with baby change in both toilets
