Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon is suspended inside the historic Castle: a six-metre, internally lit Moon featuring highly detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface, with an atmospheric soundtrack by composer Dan Jones.

What to expect:

  • On until Saturday 31 October 2026, during Castle opening hours
  • Castle open Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 11am-5pm
  • Every centimetre of the sculpture represents six kilometres of the Moon
  • "Perfect for families, friends and curious minds"

  • Castle admission: "Adult (inc. Seniors): £13.95", "Child (aged 4-16): £8.50"
