About this event
Nature Journal Workshop (U16) is part of the programme at the Museum of Gloucester.
Join artist Claire Taylor-Jones to create a beautiful Nature Journal with a series of monthly workshops, using objects in the handling collection as inspiration. The hope of this workshop is to connect children with nature through the medium of art.
What to expect:
- Saturdays 2-3pm: 31 Oct (Bats), 28 Nov (Leaves), 19 Dec (Holly), 23 Jan (Jay), 20 Feb (Thrush)
- "The under-16s session is suitable for ages 5-16"
- An animal or plant to look at, then drawing and observation notes
- "£5 per child (£8 for 2 children, £10 for 3 children) Parents and carers go free!"
- Join one or all sessions; "All materials provided"
