Newhailes Halloween trail

A self-guided Halloween trail around the estate at Newhailes House & Garden, Musselburgh, run by the National Trust for Scotland. Children follow spooky clues on a brand-new route, play Halloween games along the way and meet the ponies on the back lawn; every child completing the trail receives a Halloween play bag to take home. Each child needs a £5 ticket, which covers the trail paper, entrance to the games and a Halloween treat. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and adults attend free when accompanying a child. A £5 car parking charge applies, waived for National Trust for Scotland members with a valid car parking sticker. Dogs on a lead are welcome.
