About this event
Step aboard the Tanfield Railway’s famous North Pole Express for a steam train journey to the North Pole! Santa’s cheerful elves entertain you with song and dance before you board, then step into Father Christmas’s magical grotto at the North Pole.
What to expect:
- All tickets sold out
- Departures 10:25am, 11:25am, 12:25pm, 1:25pm, 2:25pm, 3:25pm, 4:25pm; around 2/2.25hrs long
- Starts and finishes at East Tanfield Station (DH9 9UY)
- A return steam train ride, a visit to meet Santa and his Elves, a special gift for every child
- Entry to Jingles Elf Show at East Tanfield; festive treats and activities at the North Pole
- Mainly outdoor and no onboard heating: please wrap up warm, sturdy footwear
- Adult (16+) £24 (plus £1.44 booking fee); Child (0-15 ) £28 (plus £1.68 booking fee)
